Eight destinations to visit in low season

Every day there are more and more Spaniards who spend their holidays in the low season and want to visit places that at other times of the year take a very large number of tourists. 

Discover places like Las Vegas, Florence, Riga or Macau, you can afford it and in the low season there will be much less people than in the high season. 

According to a booking study , 68% of travelers say they are ready to travel in the low season in 2019 to compensate for seasonal over-tourism. Here are some examples that are worth visiting in low season.

Florence, Italy
The city of Dante, Da Vinci and Michelangelo is considered , above all , a unique Renaissance. The Uffizi gallery, known for its collection of fine arts and the long lines that form at the entrance, is one of the most visited museums in the world, and in winter you can usually enter directly without waiting long. Enjoy the famous scenery of Florence and warm up with an espresso or a delicious ribollita (strong Tuscan soup with vegetables and bread) or climb the 463 steps of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore to the dome of Brunelleschi.

When to go? June is the busiest month in Florence, but the average price for accommodation in January is 30% cheaper than in high season. In February, you can find accommodation for half the price compared to the high season
